This update is in response to recent changes from major email providers like Google and Yahoo, aimed at reducing spam and enhancing user security. Starting February 1st, all email senders must adhere to these new requirements to ensure optimal deliverability with mailbox providers.
Google and Yahoo have introduced new standards for bulk emailing, which will particularly affect all users who send emails to Gmail and Yahoo accounts. This will impact those sending more than 5,000 emails, including transactional emails per day. Among the three main requirements, one is the easy one-click unsubscribe option.
Unsubscribing should be as simple as subscribing, if not easier, so email communications must include a one-click unsubscribe option. If you are an Apifon platform user, we have integrated the one-click list unsubscribe feature. This feature offers recipients a hassle-free way to opt out of unwanted emails through a one-click unsubscribe mechanism. They can click the Unsubscribe button next to the sender's email address without opening the email. Upon clicking, they will be unsubscribed from the email list without any other steps or confirmations required.
In conclusion, we have improved the unsubscribe process by complying with RFC standards so that you don't worry about one of the main requirements and stay away from your subscribers' spam folders.
